Hi everyone lol. I know it's been ages since I posted. Loads has been going on. I had that horrid flu that lasts for weeks and when you finally get over the bad bit you have the tickly cough every time you lay down making sleep almost impossible. That and study and work commitments for my course have kept me fairly busy as well as a couple of family trips in between in the school hols lol. Never seems to end.
Never the less there has been a little bit of creating going on on the days I have been able to craft which admittedly have been few and far between.
Now of course I have pics but do you think I can find the SD cards? lol So I will have to take some more so I can play show and tell. I have made over 30 boxes lately but they are at a friends so no pics yet. Soon I promise... Also MIA are my pics from my Tim Holtz class... Lol Unorganised chaos ugh... Hopefully the cards show up soon...
My study is over now :) just waiting on final results. Passed everything so far so fingers crossed...
Really want to get back in the habit of posting again, as a matter of fact I think I should make it my new years resolution :)
Having a squizz around on this laptop to see if I can find any pics to share :)
Not crafty but lets see if I can show you what we have been up to this busy year!
In April we went to Taronga Zoo, Darling Quarter (if we go to Sydney a stop there is a must for my 8yr old!), The Hard Rock Cafegosh it seems so long ago I wish I could remember where else lol...
In June we watched INXS at the Shoalhaven Entertainment centre.
In July we went to Disney on Ice. It has become a family tradition! We also went to the Hard Rock Cafe again as miss 8 wanted to have her birthday there so she could get a free sundae and have the staff sing her happy birthday :) lol.
August was my birthday and we went to a really nice Italian restaurant.
If not for my feet when the Quilt and Craft fair was on at the Convention Centre in Darling Harbour I could probably have watched Tim Holtz all day lol... Next time I am taking more batteries and a notebook to take notes! lol
Of course 2 days later I did the whole class thing on a sleepy Sunday afternoon in Coogee. Man o Man I wish I had had an in for the all day class the next day! The only downside for me is I found one or two of the staff of the company who sponsored his visit a bit snooty :( Oh well Tim and mario were very nice and that's what counted!
November I went and watched Nickelback... Wooohooo that was brilliant.
Just before Christmas we went and watched the original Wiggles perform together for the last time... (Sad face) Even my 16 year old wanted to see Greg, Jeff, Anthony and Murray take the stage for the last time as The Wiggles.
Darling Harbour decorated for Christmas
My studying meant I also needed to spend time at my daughters school to make my hours up for work experience. Pleased to say I passed Cert 3 Education Support Yay :)
During the year I have been buying a few trinkets for some blog give aways :) Hopefully once I get a few crafty posts under my belt I will work out what sort of giveaway it will be! Sorry for the long post but we have been busy! lol
